MarketPlace: Opening Doors to Success
We are seeking Presenters for MarketPlace Teach-in Sessions.
Proposals are due August 20, 2008.
The MarketPlace conference is a day focused on energizing small businesses and rural communities. Participants will:
- LEARN vital business skills.
- NETWORK with other entrepreneurs and service providers.
- DISCOVER ideas that work for small businesses and communities.
MarketPlace offers several ways to be involved:

Two new opportunities for 2009:
- Call for Presentation Proposals. Submit your ideas for teach-ins by August 20, 2008.
- Call for Local Food Proposals. We are proud to showcase family farm and ranch-raised food at the MarketPlace. This RFP also covers the Governor's Agri/Eco Tourism Workshop.

| The Center for Rural Affairs is collaborating with the Colorado Rural Development Council (CRDC) as the Supporting Sponsor to hold the First Colorado Entrepreneurship MarketPlace at Otero Junior College in LaJunta, Colorado. Similar to Nebraska's MarketPlace, the conference will feature a series of information sessions, trade show exhibits and networking opportunities.
